We’re excited to share that we are officially gearing up for our Annual Banquet, and this year’s theme is especially joyful: Celebrating Birthdays!
At The Care Center, birthdays represent so much more than cake and candles. They symbolize hope and the chance to be celebrated by choosing life. This year’s banquet will reflect that spirit as we come together to honor lives changed and the new beginnings made possible in and through our community.
Behind the scenes, plans are already coming together for an evening filled with meaningful stories and gratitude. The Annual Banquet is one of our most anticipated events of the year, and this theme reminds us that every life deserves to be celebrated.
If you are interested in attending the banquet, please reach out to me. We would be grateful to have you join us as a partner in this celebration.
With gratitude,
Carly McAuley, RN, MBA

Dear Friend of The Care Center,
What a joy it was to celebrate with so many of you at our Walk for Life on September 13th! The energy, enthusiasm, and community support we witnessed were truly remarkable.
Thanks to faithful supporters, our "Celebrating Birthdays for 40 Years" Walk was a tremendous success. Together, we raised funds that will directly impact families throughout our community in the months ahead. Every step taken and every dollar given represents your commitment to protecting and celebrating life.
The writer of Hebrews reminds us, "Let us not neglect to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:25, ESV) Our Walk exemplified this beautiful truth as our community gathered together, encouraged one another, and demonstrated our shared commitment to the sanctity of life.
Thank you for walking alongside us in this vital ministry.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Carly McAuley, RN, BSN
Executive Director

It is time once again for the annual Walk for Life. This event serves as a primary fundraiser for The Care Center, allowing us to serve our clients at no cost to them.
The Care Center provides pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound and STI testing, breastfeeding and childbirth classes at no cost to our clients. In addition, we provide material support for moms and dads, including clothing, diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, Life Skills, and healthy choices education classes.
In addition, The Care Center’s school-based education program, The EDGE, impacts hundreds of Rhea County students every year, equipping them with the knowledge and support to avoid risky behaviors and eliminate the negative consequences associated with drugs, alcohol, and sexual activity.
We desire to provide help and hope to those finding themselves in an unexpected pregnancy situation. We desire to equip moms and dads, so they are confident in their parenting journey. We desire to equip students with the knowledge and refusal skills necessary to make healthy choices. Now, maybe more than ever, we need you to help bear this burden, and walk with us, as we walk with the families of our community.

January 17th is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.
What is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday?
It is a day that was proclaimed by President Ronald Reagan in 1984, and held on the Sunday closest to the Roe v. Wade decision (Jan. 22, 1973).
On this day churches, Pastors, and organizations like The Care Center, seek to remember the uniqueness of human life and how God created each of us, even the preborn. It is also a day that we seek to bring awareness to the lives lost to the abortion industry.
This year we are not able to host our Open House, but we wanted you to still have the opportunity to see how we love and support the men and women facing unexpected pregnancies right here in our own communities.
Check out the video and let us know what questions you may have or if you would like to know ways you can be involved in this incredible ministry.

2020 Virtual Walk for Life
Walk with us anytime September 14-19th!
Due to the extra precautions we are all taking, the 2020 Walk for Life will be held as a virtual event.
Are you wondering what that means?
Well, let me tell you!
First and foremost you will still gather your Sponsors just as in previous years. We will have Sponsor Forms available at area churches, The Care Center offices, and a version you can download straight to your computer and print off! Click here for the downloadable Sponsor Form.
Before you Walk, just drop off or mail in your Sponsor form and we will announce our top three earners the following week.
Then during the week of September 14-19 you will choose your own walking location and walk two miles for The Care Center! You can walk with your family, friends, or whomever you feel comfortable walking with.
We would ask that you send us a picture or even a short video of you walking. We want to see all the ways and locations that people can be found Walking for Life around our communities! You can use #tccwalkforlife2020 or send us the picture or video, info@thecarecentertn.org.
We recognize this is not our usual event and we are deeply saddened to not get to walk with every one of you; however, we are so glad that this event can continue through innovation and technology!
The Walk for Life is our second-largest fundraiser and, especially during this difficult time, is very important to our continuing to operate and serve those facing an unexpected pregnancy right here in our communities. Every dollar you help to raise goes into the work The Care Center does each day.
Thank you for Walking with us and we look forward to seeing your pictures!
If you are interested in becoming a Sponsored Walker or have questions, send us an email, info@thecarecentertn.org, or give us a call, 423-775-0019!
