It is that time again! Prepare to get muddy and join The EDGE for the annual Muddy Pumpkin Mud Run. This family-friendly mud and obstacle run will take you over the river and through the woods. Who knows what you may encounter! Event starts and ends at the Historical Rhea County Courthouse in Downtown Dayton.

Online registration is now closed, however you may still register in-person at the event!

It is time for our annual Walk for Life! This event serves as the second largest fundraiser for The Care Center. This year, we have set a lofty goal of $58,000 to continue the ministry of The Care Center. But, as big as our goal is, we know our God is even bigger! Make plans to join us as we are Walking in Hope!

The Care Center is taking our annual fundraising banquet VIRTUAL! We promise it will be a fun and informative event. You will have a chance to see more of The Care Center and to learn how we help moms and dads facing an unexpected pregnancy, walking with them from the beginning until they are ready to stand on their own.

You will learn the full impact this ministry has and why it is important to invest and partner with us. Because YOU are what keeps this ministry open and moving forward!

• Finally, SHARE the registration link! If you have a friend or family member who you think could use the encouragement and the empowerment that comes from standing for Life and partnering with this “boots on the ground” ministry, than send it to them.

January 17th is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.

What is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday?

It is a day that was proclaimed by President Ronald Reagan in 1984, and held on the Sunday closest to the Roe v. Wade decision (Jan. 22, 1973).

On this day churches, Pastors, and organizations like The Care Center, seek to remember the uniqueness of human life and how God created each of us, even the preborn. It is also a day that we seek to bring awareness to the lives lost to the abortion industry.

This year we are not able to host our Open House, but we wanted you to still have the opportunity to see how we love and support the men and women facing unexpected pregnancies right here in our own communities.

It is Happening!!

2020 has made it even more important that we seek out ways to have some fun. So, we have the perfect solution…the Muddy Pumpkin Mud Run on Saturday, October 31st at 8:30am!

Before the event, you’ll have the opportunity to pick your pumpkin, get warmed up, and haul that gourd through the course.

Think you can handle a great pumpkin? Get creative with your hauling technique!

        Early Bird Registration (Sept. 1-30): $40

         Registration (starting October 1): $45

          Group Haul (teams of 4 or more): $5 DISCOUNT EACH

          Youth Registration (ages 6-12): $20

           Ages 5 and under: Free (will not receive T-shirt or pumpkin)

           **Please note: Group Haul team members not eligible for youth pricing.**

The Care Center will be hosting its annual fundraising banquet on March 7, 2019!

It is the largest fundraiser The Care Center hosts and will allow us to continue providing needed services to men and women facing unexpected pregnancies throughout 2019.

We are excited to be joining with Moody Radio Chattanooga as they host a community-wide Baby Shower for The Care Center and three other pregnancy centers!

On Thursday, April 26th we will be collecting baby items that our Learn-to-Earn Parenting Class participants will have the opportunity to buy with their vouchers. Our parents work hard to learn and provide for their children. We want to work hard to give them the best options for what they need for their baby.

If you would like to be involved you can come by The Care Center anytime between 7:30am-6:00pm on April 26th to drop off your items. Below are some of the things we are in need of:

• Diapers, size Newborn - size 3
• Baby Wipes
• Baby Formula (Similac Advance)
• Clothing, sizes Newborn-12 months
• Baby Shampoo
• Baby Lotion
• Pacifiers
• Blankets
• Anything else that you might take to a friend’s baby shower would be a great blessing.

Plus, here are some great, and much-needed, options for your small group or Sunday school class to collect together:

• Highchairs
• Swings
• Cribs (must not have sides that lower down)
• Car seats (can be recently used, no older than 4 yrs)
• Pack N Plays/Rock N Plays
